What is this?
The all day session shall consist of creating through and blind dovetails in a real or simulated drawer. The pins will be created with machinery and the tails will be made by hand thus expediting the dovetail fabrication process. This will allow time for fitting the drawer into an opening as well as turning a matching or contrasting wooden pull. The session was created to allow attendees to add a drawer to their Shaker Table, however other RWS members who were not in the Shaker Table Workshop are welcome to participate. The material charge for those that have not contributed in the Shaker Table session shall be $10. On hand to assist and demonstrate will be Jim Cox, Dave Gilbert, and Alan VanDeMoere.
