Hand plane usage, participants will create a simulated or real tabletop. Course material includes "4 square" wood preparation (by hand tooling and machine). Participants will strive to provide a finish ready surface for their tabletops with bench planes. Participants can supply their own materials or have the wood supplied at a modest charge. Prerequisite is "Sharpening Hand Plane Irons and Chisels" unless one is fully competent in sharpening.
