Using handtools the participants will create through and half blind dovetails during the creation of a simulated drawer or box. Proper sawing technique and saw selection will be reviewed. Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment/tools to the workshop otherwise tooling will be provided. Time permitting, alternate techniques will be demonstrated utilizing machining methods. Prerequisite is "Sharpening Hand Plane Irons and Chisels" unless one is fully competent in sharpening.
A very modest charge will apply to materials used.
